I got to Day 10! I am now one-third of the way to my goal of 30 days! I feel great, and since things are going well I am going to be updating every five days now, instead of each day.
Day 10 was easy. Great energy – I am borderline hyperactive these last few days, and I fear I have driven crazy my poor relatives who stopped in for a visit, what with all of my impromptu speeches about nutrition and living in the Bible belt and the loveliness of good coffee. That’s okay though. I haven’t felt this good in years. My skin still looks great for the most part, although I woke up with some acne on my neck and nose the morning of Day 10, a sign of deeper detoxing now that we are past the first level of detox.
Bowels are great, sleep is great, attitude is fabulous, thinking is clear, memory is good, and blood circulation in my hands and feet is fine. I haven’t had one of my normal headaches since I started the fast. I miss eating food, but I am now so excited each day upon waking up to greet even better results, that I have full momentum and motivation to keep on going.
What I drank:
Coffee/Teecino (which I have been forgetting to list lately) and coconut milk
1/2 gallon purified water
3 cups of tea
I am back to not needing much juice. I have just been living life and don’t think much about having juice. When I start to feel weak and light headed I will make some, and then usually have a cup of tea after, and that has worked out great.
I told you I’d give you a great vegetable broth recipe. Here is the link. This is great stuff, and will last a while if you only have a mug when you’re really wanting something salty while fasting.
