Stop what you are doing and say I love you Jesus and then listen.
Do you hear the wind in the trees? Do you hear your children saying Mommy or Daddy? Do you see the flowers? Or squawking, chirping beauty flying fast all around you? What about color? Is it varied and shaded and deep and vibrant? Do you see movement out of the corner of your eye? A squirrel, darting to hide a nut? A beetle, racing down the sidewalk? Taste the crisp of an autumn apple on your tongue? Smell wood smoke? Feel the warmth of the sun? The rhythm of your heart’s own timekeeping? The goodness of your hopes? Do you love the feeling of late afternoon? Or the hope of dawn? See the brightness of the morning? Know the faithful provision of rain and shade and roots and horizons?
Do you realize the gift of your ability to experience these things?
Do you sense the promise that it has not even entered into our minds what He has prepared for us?
Well. He loves you too.
“For from him and through him and for him are all things.” Romans 11:36
